About The Education Foundation

The Alexandria Township Education Foundation, organized in early 1997, is comprised of Trustees from the community who are committed to providing enhancements to the children and community members of Alexandria Township, through the Lester D. Wilson Elementary and the Alexandria Middle Schools. The Foundation's primary mission is to raise the dollars needed for educational enhancements to existing programs, or for new, innovative programs for enrichment.

The Foundation is an autonomous organization with its own bylaws and a 501(c)(3) Federal and NJ tax exempt status, separate and distinct from the Board of Education. The Foundation seeks gifts in the form of cash contributions, will bequests, insurance policies, and memorials and tributes, all of which are tax deductible.

Contributions to the Foundation can be sent to: Alexandria Township Education Foundation, 557 County Road 513, Pittstown, New Jersey 08867.
