LDW Digital Yearbook  This grant was used to produce a "Digital Yearbook" of memories for each student.  The DVD was distributed to each family at LDW which consisted of pictures and videos of all the different events and programs held at LDW.
 
Swift Visiting Farm  This grant provided an opportunity for the preschoolers, kindergarten and MD children to learn first hand about farm animals.  The Swift Visiting Farm brought sheep, rabbits, ducks and other animals.  The children were able to touch the animals, smell them, and hear their sounds, while learning about them.
 
 
 Lego Car Design Grant. 
The All About Learning Co. staff will visit our second and third graders to give a hands on exploration experience using Legos.  The students will use engineering techniques to create a battery operated race car.  They will learn how to make joint decisions, follow plans, and test their models.
 
 
 
 
 
 
High Fives & A Big Heart.
This grant will help fund the publishing and distribution of the book High Fives & a Big Heart. Written and illustrated by his fourth grade classmates, High Fives
and A Big Heart
, clearly demonstrates that Jeffrey’s classmates see him as a friend, not a kid with a disability. After it’s publication, High Fives and A Big Heart will be another incredible tool for teachers and parents to help facilitate greater acceptance of all individuals and their inclusion in our schools and communities.

Service Project - Active Citizen.
 This request is from the third grade team for the purchase of material to be used to make 15 fleece blankets.  Those blankets will be donated to an organization which supports the homeless.  What a great learning experience for the children!

 
 
 
 
Observing and Helping the Lives of our Feathered Friends.
 This grant request is from for purchasing materials that will be used by the Kindergarten to observe and learn about NJ birds. The program will be repeated next year as well.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
LDW School Wide Safari Expedition:
 This grant provides the ability for all the LDW students, staff and chaperone's to visit the Lehigh Valley Zoo.  

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Consumables - Cooking/Art/Sensory.  This grant will fund supplies to be used by Pre-School students to help them in their learning.
